Thirukadaiyur Ayush Homam
This homam is performed to seek blessings from Ayurveda, which increases the Ayush. Anyone can perform it. Usually, this homama is performed for children, and Shastiapthapoorthi (60th marriage, 70th marriage, and 80th marriage) devotees perform this pooja a lot.
Ayush Homam includes Navagraha Homam and Mrityunjaya Homam. One Kalasa for Mrityunjaya Homam and 9 Kalasas for Navagraha Homam will be kept in Pooja. Pooja usually runs for 1 hour 30 mins to 2 hours. At the end, the water from the Kalasas will be poured on the devotee. The devotees will later change the dress and perform the Ahuthi again. One must use Cow Ghee for this Homam. Astottaram, Anga Poojai and Aavarana Poojai will be performed during Mruthyunjaya Homam. Nakshatra Ahuthi and Thithi Ahuthi will be performed during Navagraha Homam. It is said that +5 years will be added to the devotee. Good and Quality Pooja Samagri will be used.
