SriVari Hamsa Vahanam
SriVari Hamsa Vahanam on the second day evening of Navarathri Brahmotsavam. Lord Sri Malayappa Swamy on Thursday evening was taken out on the charismatic Hamsa Vahanam draped in pleasant white silk vastrams as a part of the ongoing Navarathri Brahmotsavams.
Hamsa (Swan) is believed to have an inherent ability to separate milk from water. Likewise, the Lord guides mankind to lead sanctified life, bestowing on it the wisdom to shed bad qualities and retain noble virtues. Hamsa means Paramatma, Yogi, Guru and Mantra.
The devotees are allowed to watch the deity from the Gallery.
