Srinivasa Mangapuram Temple, 9 February 2015: Ankurarpanam’ ritual has been performed with religious fervour in the temple of Srinivasa Mangapuram on Monday evening.
As a prelude to the annual brahmotsavams, Ankurarpanam or the “sacred seed sowing ritual” is performed at 6pm in srinivasa mangapuram wherein nine types of holy seeds in earthen containers have been sowed in holy soil (Mrisangrahana). This ritual signifies the beginning of festival in the temple. This is followed by recital of vedic hymns.
Later the commander-in-chief of Lord Venkateswara, Sri Vishwaksena Swamy has been taken around the four mada streets in a grand procession. The celestial warrior has invited all the three crore deities to take part in the nine-day mega religious event of his Supremo Master.

1) The Temple is located at 12 Km from Tirupati
2) A.P.S.R.T.C Buses are quite frequent, Bus Routes Madanapalle, Piler, Thalakona, Ramgampeta goes via Srinivasa Mangapuram Temple
3) Temple is on the Highway, so pilgrim can get down right in front of the Temple.
