Srikalahasti Mahanyasa Rudrabhishekam: Procedure, Ticket Cost, and Booking

Mahanyasa Rudrabhishekam Puja Details

Puja Timings: 4.00 p.m to 4.30 p.m
Ticket cost: Rs. 1500 (couple or two members allowed)
Bahumanam: Blouse piece and Upper cloth
Prasadam: 4 Vada, 4 small Laddu, and Pulihora.
Puja duration: 30 to 35 minutes.
Puja location: Sahasra Linga mandapam.
The ticket counter is located at Gate 4.
Please purchase the ticket by 3.15 p.m., as the priest might start the puja a little early, depending on the rush.
Usually, it starts at 4.00 p.m.
There will be a running Darshan line on Mondays. On all other days, devotees can sit inside the main temple and watch the Abhishekam to the deity.

Gents: dhoti (white) and shirt or kurta and pyjama.
Ladies: saree or salwar kameez (with Pallu Compulsory).
All devotees are requested not to wear clothes such as T-shirts, jeans, etc., as they are strictly prohibited, irrespective of age group.

The devotees are allowed to sit in the mandapam.
There will be a Sankalpam and then mantras chanting.
Three priests will be chanting the mantras.
Following Sri Gnana Prasunambika Darshan, devotees can receive Srikalahastheeswara Swamy Darshan.
Devotees are allowed to have darshan right after Abhishekam to the deities.
Devotees are allowed to enter Sanctum Sanctorum at both places.
Darshan usually takes 30 to 45 minutes.
Prasadam can be collected at Veda Aseervachana Mandapam.

Devotees can perform Rahu Ketu Pooja and Rudrabhishekam in a day.
Please purchase both tickets from the counter at Gate 4.
Rahu Ketu puja usually takes 30 minutes.
So plan to be there at the temple by 2.00 p.m. so that you can join the Rahu Ketu pooja slot at 2.30 p.m.
