ANNUAL TEPPOTSAVAMS IN TIRUCHANOOR FROM MAY 29- Sri Padmavathi Amma Varu Teppotsvam Tiruchanoor
Tirupati, 16 May 2015: The annual five-day teppotsavams in Tirumala will be from May 29 to June 2 in the famous temple of Goddess Padmavathi in Tiruchanoor.
These Utsavams are usually observed in Tiruchanoor temple from Jyestha Suddha Ekadasi till Pournami for five days every year.
On the first day Lord Sri Krishnaswamy takes pleasure ride on finely decorated Teppa-float in the Padma Sarovaram along with Rukmini and Satyabhama, while on the second day Sundera Raja Swamy graces the float and the remaining three days Goddess take celestial ride in all Her splendour. The Teppotsavams takes place every day between 6:30pm to 7:30pm. On first day after teppotsavams Goddess takes ride on Aswa Vahanam while on second day Goddess rides GARUDA Vahanam between 8:30pm to 10:30pm.

TTD has cancelled Kalyanotsavam, unjal Seva and Lakshmi Puja in connection with this festival.
