A simple marriage in Tirumala is performed in a mandapam near the Tirumala Temple. Simple wedding costs start at Rs. 30,000, as they include mandapam rent, purohit, puja articles, and Sannai. Kindly note that only Hindu-arranged marriages are allowed in Tirumala. We also perform love marriages with parents’ approval. One should provide all required documents before the wedding. Hall capacity varies from 15 members to 50 members. Small-sized wedding halls are available in Tirumala, behind West Mada Street.
All marriages happen outside the main temple at a designated place. The temple only houses the main deities, Seva, and other pujas. Marriage halls are located at a walkable distance from the main temple. Please note that the marriage cannot be performed before the main deity and the main temple gopuram.
What makes Tirumala’s marriage special?
Tirumala Kshetra, or Varaha Kshetra, is the holy abode of Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Lord Vishnu resides here with his consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi. This temple is one of the 108 abodes of Lord Maha Vishnu. It is believed that getting married at Tirumala will bless the couple with a joyful and long life. This temple performs daily Kalyanotsavam, also known as Nithya Kalyana Kshetra. All days are auspicious, and there is no need to check for Muhurtham at this temple.
