Sarpa samskara is performed on the first day, followed by Sarpa dosha nivarana on the second day. This puja is advisable for those who have killed a snake knowingly or unknowingly. When to perform Sarpa Samkara Pooja?
- Those who killed a snake either directly or indirectly should perform this pooja.
- Knowingly or unknowingly blocking the snake’s path will result in suffering from Sarpa Dosha.
- Snake uses a daily path in search of food, and blocking such a way will result in dosha.
- Individuals who have destroyed anthills should perform this puja.
- Individuals who destroy Snake’s egg will suffer from the dosha as well.
- Those who keep a snake in captivity.
- Those who killed a snake and ignored the rituals properly.
- If ancestors discover Sarpa dosha and Sarpa’s death in the horoscope or any other historical or future prediction medium.
