Ratnagiri temple Vellore, Bala Murugan, Timings, Darshan

This temple was built in the 14th Century and is located on top of the hill. Lord Murugan Self-manifested here in two forms one with His consorts Valli and Deva Sena and second manifestation the form of The Guru. As Lord Manifested in Bala form, Surasamharam is not performed during Skanda Shasti. The five-storeyed Temple tower was built in 1975. Maha Kumbabhishekam was performed on 6 Feb 2003.

Morning Hours: 6:30 am – 1:00 pm

Evening Hours: 3:30 pm – 8:00 pm

Abhishekam Timings

10:00 am and 5:00 pm

Ticket Cost: Rs.750/ Couple and Rs.1000/ Couple

Abhishekam is performed daily.

Preferable Dress Code for Abhishekam

Men: White Pancha, Dhoti/ Kurta, Pyjama.
Female: Saree with blouse/ Punjabi Dress with Dupatta / Chudidhar with Dupatta/ Half saree

Any decent outfit is allowed for Darshan.
