Hall Allotment Timings: 2:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Hall Charges: Rs. 5000 – Rs. 45000
Hall Capacity: 100-500 members.
Hall Location: Bottom of the Hill near the Steps entrance. There are no marriage halls located on the hill’s summit.
Palani Marriage Procedure and Booking Details
- The bride must be 18 years and above.
- The groom must be 21 years and above.
- Arranged marriages are allowed to be performed in these halls.
- Aadhaar card photocopies are required from the bride, groom, and their parents.
- A hall booking receipt is required at the time of allotment.
- Hall charges include one day’s hall rent, water supply charges, and electricity charges for minimal usage.
- If the hall manager deems the booking irrelevant, they are entitled to cancel it.
- Marriage halls and rooms are not located on top of the hill.

Marriage Registration Procedure
- The hall manager will issue a receipt after the marriage.
- You can use this receipt for registration in Palani or in your hometown.
- Two wedding photos and the marriage invitation card are required. Parents’ Aadhaar Cards from both sides, and the groom’s and bride’s Aadhaar Cards are required.
A minimum of 20 to 30 days of booking is advisable to make the arrangements.
Palani Temple Marriage for the Same-Caste
- Bride and Groom’s Aadhar Cards photocopies
- Bride’s parents’ and groom’s parents’ Aadhar Cards photocopies
- An unmarried certificate from the Bride and Groom or a duly filled application sealed and signed by the Thasildhar/MRO
- The unmarried certificate must be in Tamil or English
- The bride’s and Groom’s Community certificates and TCs are required
Inter-Caste arranged Marriage ID proofs
- Bride and Groom’s Aadhar Cards photocopies
- Bride’s parents’ and groom’s parents’ Aadhar Cards photocopies
- An unmarried certificate from the Bride and Groom or a duly filled application sealed and signed by the Thasildhar/MRO
- The unmarried certificate must be in Tamil or English
- The bride’s and Groom’s Community certificates and TCs are required
- NOC from the Local police stations
- A notary must record the marriage details and obtain approval from both the bride’s and groom’s parents.
