Nellaiappar Temple Marriage Procedure, Booking Details, and Marriage Hall Details.
The temple allows marriages during its opening hours. The temple requires reservations for marriages due to its limited capacity.
Nellaiappar Temple Marriage Procedure
- The Bride must be 18 years and above
- The Groom must be 21 years and above
- The Bride and groom’s families must be Hindus
- Only Hindu arranged marriages are allowed at this temple
- Parents from both sides must be available for the marriage.
- In the case of parents, Guardians can perform the marriage by submitting the required documents
- Only Hindu arranged marriages are allowed at Tirumala
- We perform marriages outside the temple. Please note that no marriages are allowed inside or on the temple premises.
- Marriage halls are located behind and near the temple.
- The marriage hall can be booked by submitting the required documents
- The temple does not allow interreligious marriages.
- You can perform love marriages with your parents’ approval.
- You may only tie knots before the main deity.
Required Documents for Marriage Hall Booking
- Bride and Groom’s Aadhar Cards Photocopies and 10th Mark Sheet/SSLC Mark Sheet/Date of Birth Certificate Photocopies
- Bride’s parents’ and groom’s parents’ Aadhar Cards photocopies
- In the case of parents’ absence, a Death certificate can be produced along with the guardians’ Aadhar Cards photocopies

Nellaiappar Temple Marriage Registration Procedure
- Bride and Groom’s Aadhar Card Photocopies/Passport Photocopies
- Bride and Groom’s 10th Mark sheet or Date of Birth certificate photocopies
- Bride’s parents’ and groom’s parents’ Aadhar Cards photocopies
- Death Certificate photocopies in the case of parents’ absence
- Three witnesses, along with their Aadhar Card photocopies
- Wedding Invitation
- The Marriage Hall will issue a receipt detailing the specifics of the marriage.
- Wedding Photos 3 Nos. The Tieing the Knot photo is mandatory.
