On the third day of the Navarthri Brahmotsavams, Lord Venkateswara with His Consorsts was taken around the four-mada streets of Tirumala temple on the ‘Muthyapu Pandiri’ Vahanam-which is made of finest quality natural pearl.
Lord Malayappa along with his two consorts ride the Muthyapu Pandiri Vahanam – a pandal shaped carrier decorated with expensive and resplendent milky white pearls – spreading the message of peace, love and co-existence in society.
The pearl is the oldest known gem, and for many centuries it was considered the most valuable.Over time, the pearl has become the symbol of purity and innocence and the favourite gem stone of the deities.
