Narayan Bali Puja in Prayagraj is performed daily. The puja duration is three to four hours. An elder from the family should perform this puja. This puja is performed to pacify unsatisfied souls. This puja should be performed if there is any unnatural death. A person died in an accident, from a snake bite or venomous reptile, from consuming poison, in a fire accident, from committing suicide, from illness, and much more. All these unnatural death reasons might cause the soul to remain on this earth. This puja will guide the soul either to attain moksha (salvation) or join the rebirth cycle.
An unsatisfied soul might cause problems for the existing family members. It might affect their business, career, marriage, relationship, pregnancy, health, and much more. This Preta Shanti puja should be performed to overcome these problems. An elder from the family should perform this puja. A single person or a couple can perform this puja. Puja Dress Code
- Gents: dhoti (white) and upper cloth.
- Ladies: saree.
- Regardless of age group, we kindly request that all devotees refrain from wearing clothing such as T-shirts and jeans.
Instructions to be followed
- Women can participate in this puja after the fifth day of their menstrual cycle.
- If there is any death in the family, one should perform the puja after 3 months.
- One should stop consuming non-veg and alcohol for another 11 days after the puja.
- Three days before the puja, one should abstain from alcohol and non-vegetarian foods.

It is advisable to perform this puja on an Amavasya day for the best results. Pitru Paksha days, Amavasya days, and Mahalaya Amavasya day are preferable for this puja.
