Marriage in Tirumala Temple, Hall Cost, Rooms allotment, and Booking Procedure
- Hall allotment timings: 3 p.m to 3 p.m next day (i.e. for 24 hours.)
- Marriage Hall capacity: 30 to 500 members.
Required Photo ID proofs
- Bride and groom’s Aadhar Cards photocopies
- Bride parents and groom parents’ Aadhar card photocopies
- Bride and groom’s 10th mark sheet or birth certificate photocopies.
- Unmarried certificates and original copies are required for SMC, ATC, and TBC hall bookings.
- For trust or Mutt hall bookings, an unmarried certificate submission is not required.
Marriage Procedure in Tirumala Temple
- The bride should be 18 years and older.
- The groom should be 21 years and older.
- The bride and groom must be Hindus.
- Only Hindu arranged marriages are allowed.
- Love marriages without a parent’s acceptance are not allowed.
- Hindu inter-caste marriages are allowed at Tirumala.
- Parents’ presence is mandatory from both sides at the time of marriage.
- A required number of rooms can be booked while booking the marriage hall.
- Other arrangements, such as mandapa decoration, catering services, etc., can be provided at additional cost.
- For Devasthanam halls, 4 to 6 rooms will be provided with the hall.
- Newlywed couples are allowed to have darshan in the wedding dress itself.
Darshan Procedure for Newlywed Couples
- Marriages don’t take place inside the temple. Only deities’ sevas and other pujas are performed there.
- Following the main deity, Darshan, marriages take place outside the temple.
- Usually, 4 members are allowed to have a special entry darshan along with the newlywed couple.
- Four members can be any of their family members (newlywed couples).
- Newlywed couples are eligible for Kalyanotsavam seva tickets, which will be issued at the CRO office in Tirumala.
- Daily, 20 tickets are reserved for the newlywed couples.

Tirumala Marriage Registration and Certificate
- Marriage registration can be performed here in Tirumala.
- The AP Government marriage registration office is located at Kalyana Vedika.
- The marriage registration office remains open from Wednesday to Monday.
- The marriage certificate will be issued on the same day, which is valid across the country.
- Please carry newlywed couples’ Aadhar card photocopies along with 10th mark sheets/passport/birth certificate photocopies.
- The bride’s parents and groom’s parents’ Aadhar card photocopies.
- Wedding invitation card.
- Marriage photos (Thalikattu photo is required).
- Three witnesses along with their Aadhar card photocopies.
