Puja Dress Code

• Gents: dhoti (white) and upper cloth.
• Ladies: saree.
• Regardless of age group, we kindly request that all devotees refrain from wearing clothing such as T-shirts and jeans.

Instructions to be followed

• Women can participate in this puja after the fifth day of their menstrual cycle.
• If there is any death in the family, one should perform the puja after 3 months.
• One should stop consuming non-veg and alcohol for another 11 days after the puja.
• Three days before the puja, one should abstain from alcohol and non-vegetarian foods.

Maha Kali Homam Procedure in Hyderabad

We offer online puja services for those who are unable to attend. The puja will be livestreamed through the video call. One should take a head bath before the puja. It is advisable to fast while performing this puja. For any specific Japa Sankhya, please let us know in advance. A 10,000-Japa Sankhya might take 3–4 hours to recite. This puja will be performed on the temple premises. We experienced pandits performing this puja. This puja will be performed only for your family members. We don’t perform group pujas or samuhika pujas. Maha Kali Homam should be performed on a Moola Nakshatra day, Fridays, Navaratri festival days, and Amavasya days. It is advisable to perform this puja once a year for the best results.
