Marriage Enrollment charges: Rs. 1000
Marriage Timings: 6:00 am to 1:00 pm and 3:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
Approximately 20 marriages are allowed inside the temple for Thirumangalyam
Kundrathur Murugan Temple Marriage
- The Bride must be 18 years and above
- The groom must be 21 years and above.
- Only Hindu arranged marriages are allowed inside the temple
- The Bride and Groom’s Aadhar Cards, SSLC Mark sheet Photocopies
- The bride’s parents’ and groom’s parents’ photo ID proofs are required.
- The temple allows only Thirumangalyam entry.
- Parents/guardians must be available for the marriage.
- One must collect the marriage enrollment form at the temple counter.
- Pre- and post-marriage arrangements can be performed outside the temple.
- Following the Sannathi marriage, the newlyweds can have Darshan.
- The newlywed couple will receive a copy of their marriage registration after the ceremony.
- The same certificate is valid across the country; no other registration is required.
- Photography and video shoots are not allowed inside the temple.
- Marriage halls are located down the hill. Previously, the temple permitted Sannathi Homam; however, the current COVID situation only permits Thirumangalyam.
Inter-Caste arranged Marriage ID proofs
- Bride and Groom’s Aadhar Cards photocopies
- Bride’s parents’ and groom’s parents’ Aadhar Cards photocopies
- Unmarried certificate from the Bride and Groom or a duly filled application sealed and signed by the Thasildhar/MRO
- The unmarried certificate must be in Tamil or English
- Bride and Groom’s Community certificates and TCs are required
- NOC from the Local police stations
- A notary must record the marriage details and obtain approval from both the bride’s and groom’s parents.
