Kumbha Vivaham in Gokarna is performed every day. The puja duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes. Anyone can perform this puja regardless of their age. This puja is performed to remove Manglik Dosha. The word “Kumbha” means “pot,” and “Vivaham” means “marriage.” This puja is performed by a girl to remove Kuja dosha. Typically, two to three pandits will be performing this ritual. This puja is recommended for individuals who have a severe case of manglik dosha. It is advisable to perform this puja with utmost devotion and sincerity. One should take a head bath before and after the puja. As per the Vedic texts, a Manglik cannot marry a non-Manglik person.
Kumbha Vivaham should be performed before the actual wedding. The girl will become married to a pot during this puja process. After this puja, we will break the pot, and it will be discarded in the sea. This puja is advisable irrespective of the dosha severity. This puja helps to mitigate the dosha associated with second marriages and reduces the risk of a spouse’s death. This puja can be performed even after separation. A manglik person can only marry another manglik person if their dosha severity levels are the same. A manglik person shouldn’t marry a non-manglik person, as it might cause problems. A manglik person with a less severe dosha can only marry another manglik person who also has a less severe dosha. A severely manglik person cannot marry a non-manglik person or a less severe manglik person.
