Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary

Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary Details, Timings, Entry fees.

This Ramsar wetland sanctuary stretches over an area of 29 Sq. Km.

In the year 2003, a dam was built across the river feeding the sanctuary. Birds stopped coming to the sanctuary. To restore the birds migration, Rajasthan Government started Goverdhan Drain project. These steps restored the life in the sanctuary.

Commonly seen animals are Spotted Deer, Nilgai, Sambar, Fox etc

Reptiles such as Python, Monitor Lizard can be seen here.

To watch Migratory Birds: Oct-Mar

Vehicles are not allowed inside the park.

Only Bicycles, Rickshaw and By walk allowed inside the Sanctuary.

Opening Hours: Sunrise to Sunset

Entry tickets will be stopped before 1 hours 30 mins to Sunset.

Remains open all days.
