Sri Vyasaraju who was the Spiritual Guru of Sri Krishna Devaraya of Vijayanagara empire while on his journey took a halt near Shilpagiri (also known as Chippagiri) with his discipiles. Anjaneya Swamy appeared in the dreams of  Sri Vyasaraju, and provided directions to the place where the emple can be built. Sri Vyasarju along with his disciples started searching for the place in the forest and planted a neem stick on a sand heap. To their surprise, neem stick started growing and leaves started appearing on the dry neem stick. Thus this place came to known as Nettikallu.

Sri Vyasaraju installed Anjaneya Swamy Idol at this place and this kshetra called by Nettikanti Anjaneya Swamy.

Temple Timings on Mon-Tue-Wed-Thu-Fri

Abhishekam will be performed on 4:30 am.

Kesari Sadan Guest House having 37 Rooms, maximum rent is Rs.400 per day.

Everyday, Free and quality food will be provided to 100 pilgrims. On Saturday’s, food will be offered for 400 devotees.

 

Rama Sethu Sila

There is a stone which is collected from The Rama Sethu bridge. Lord Rama with help with Vanara Sena constructed Rama sethu bridge to cross the sea. This Rama Sethu connects Rameswaram to Lanka, the stones laid for the bridge construction will float on the water. One can see the stone here inside the temple which is floating on the water.

  1. Temple is 11 km from Guntakal Railway junction and 9 km from Bus station. The direct bus is available to this place.
  2. Direct train is available from Tirupati Railway station to Guntakal Junction, which is 4 hours 45 mins journey time.

Sri Rama Navami will be celebrated with Sita Rama Kalyanotsavam in the temple. Hanuman Jayanthi will be celebrated during the month of Vaisaka. Maha Abhishekam will be performed on Pournami in Palguna month.

  1. Good site. Interesting information. Give details about accommodation procedure for booking rooms and other details about local lodges and hotels. Please provide details about Nemkal and Muridi. There is a tradition of visiting all the 3 shrines in one day.ie visiting kasapuram Muridi and Nemkal in one day
