There is no gift superior to Annadhanam, the tradition of providing food to the needy has to be been followed by us since the Vedic period. Annadata Sukhibhava ( May the provider of the food be happy) said by our ancients. Several crores of merits accrue due to this point of the act.
Sri Gnanaprasunambika Devi Nithya Annadana Scheme is meant to serve free and quality food to the devotees visiting the sacred shrine of Sri Kalahasti. Not less than two hundred devotees are being fed daily under this scheme.
Annadanam will be arranged in the name of the donor, on the day chosen by him/her making use of the interest secured on the donation. Donors can contribute any amounts, not less than Rs.1116. Annadanam will be done every year on the day of donor’s choice utilizing only the interest derived from the fixed deposit.
Under Kalahasti Nithya Annadhana Scheme, free Annna prasadam is given to pilgrims everyday at the temple.

I have send an amount of Rs.1,116/- by way of E-Money Order from Marripalem Post Office, Visakhapatnam on 16.04.2016 vide MO receipt No.012111160416008283 for nityaannadana scheme under Gnanaprasunambika nitya annadana scheme for which I have sent two letters. so far I have not received any information regarding this. Kindly look in to this matter and forward the receipt for the said amount and utilise the interest for nitya annadhana scheme every year UGADI Teugu New year day.
