This park stretches over an area of 79.45 Sq. Km. In the year 1949, this area declared as the National Park. This park is inhabited by One-horned Rhinos, Indian Gaur, Sambar, Leopard, Elephant, Sloth bear, Spotted Deer, Hog deer etc. 300+ bird species were identified in this park. This park is located in the floodplains of rivers Murti and Raidak. Commonly seen birds are Indian pied hornbill, Woodpeckers, Sunbird, flycatcher, Minivet, Drongo, Brahminy duck, Peacock etc.
