Dasa Mahavidya Homam in Kanchipuram is performed on specific days. This ritual is an individual puja performed for your family members. The puja duration is 6-7 hours. This puja is usually performed by ten to twelve priests. One thousand Japa will be performed for each deity. Usually, it takes 3 hours to recite the mantra. • Ladies: saree.

• Women can participate in this puja after the fifth day of their menstrual cycle.
• If there is any death in the family, one should perform the puja after 3 months.
• One should stop consuming non-veg and alcohol for another 11 days after the puja.
• Three days before the puja, one should abstain from alcohol and non-vegetarian foods.
