Bheema Amarja

Bheema Amarja Ganagapur, Information and Distance

This Confluence is 2 miles from the town towards South West Direction. Through the bank of the river, there is a way for confluence. The holy water of Bhageerath stream flows at a distance of 1 mile from the town.

Nagnath temple is located on top of the hill near to Sangamam. It is at this place where Sayamdeva saw two snakes racing over his body (Reference from Guru Charitra Chapter 40).

Amarja river flows in the East Direction. Bheema flows in the North direction and unites together. It is said that Shri Narasimha Saraswati was taking bath regularly.

It is believed that taking bath in this Sangam will remove all Sins.
