Dodda Alada Mara

Also called Big Banyan Tree which spread on 4 – 5 km. It stands 2nd largest in India. Bangaloreans used to reach this place by cycling. This tree is of 400 – 500 years old. Approx 28 km from Bangalore and 8 km from Bangalore – Mysore National Highway.

Muthyala Maduvu

The waterfall is 45 km from Bangalore. The flow will be high during the rainy season and minimal during the summer season. Muthyala means Pearl and Maduvu mean Pool in Kannada. A simple tourist destination with a mildly vegetated small hillock and a small waterfall.

Magadi Ranganatha Swamy

As per the Legend, It is Sage Mandavya who installed Lord Paschima Venkatachalapathy and performed strict penance at this Kshetra. Hence the name, Mandavya Kshetra. The main deity in this temple is facing West, Hence the name Paschima Venkatchalapathy. Magadi is also called as Dakshina Tirupathi which means South Tirupathi.

Temple is known for Ashelsha Bali Pooja, Sarpa Samskara Pooja, Kuja Shanti Pooja and Navagraha Pooja. Pratyeka and Samuhika Poojas will be performed at this temple. Devotees can stay at Yatri Nivas, which costs Rs.300 for one day. The nearest Railway station is at Makali Durga.
