Moksha Narayana Bali Puja is performed to appease departed souls. This puja should be performed if there is any unnatural death in the family. The departed soul will not leave this Earth, thus causing pain and agony to the family members. This puja is performed to guide the departed souls to attain Moksha or join the rebirth cycle, depending on their Karma.
Thila Homam is performed to appease ancestors. This puja removes the curse from the Pitrus. An elder from the family should perform this puja. The Thila Homam Japa Sankhya count might increase depending on the Dosha severity. At Gokarna, we perform Moksha Naryana Bali and Thila Homam together.
