Chinnasesha Vahanam
Thousands of devotees witnessed the procession of chinnaSesha vahanam organized on the second day of the on-going nine-day annual Navaratri Brahmotsavams of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on Thursday morning.
Lord Malayappa is taken around Thiru maada streets on the golden vehicle the five hooded snake, believed to be Vasuki – the king of serpents. This procession enlighten devotees on the importance of the hidden Kundalini energy, which enables one reach the 8.4 millionth manifestations – the last in the cosmic life cycle.
Adding to the grandeur was half-a-dozen well trained caparisoned elephants, horses and bulls that marched in all their majesty behind the Brahma Ratham much to the delight of the assembled devotees.
