Our Sanskriti & Gyan Temples Pooja, Darshan, and Timings Moola Nakshatra Shanti Puja in Srisailam is performed daily. The puja lasts for about 3-4 hours. Three priests will perform this ritual. Anyone can perform this ritual regardless of their age. Ketu rules the first four padas of the Ashwini, Magha, and Moola Nakshatras in the Mesha (Aries), Simha (Leo), and Dhanu (Sagittarius) Rashis. The Budha planet also rules the last four padas of the Ashlesha, Jyestha, and Revati Nakshatras in the Vrishchika (Scorpio), Kataka (Cancer), and Meena (Pisces) Rashis. These people are probably only going to be affected by marriage and relationship problems. Marriage or relationships will not be affected if someone is born in the remaining padas of the above nakshatras.
Those who are born in the first four padas of Moola Nakshatra and the last four padas of Jyeshtha Nakshatra require Shanti puja. Moola Nakshatra Parihara Shanti with Homam should be performed on the Janma (birth) Nakshatra day, which is the 27th day from the date of birth. If Pooja Parihara is not done on the 27th day, then Parihara Shanti should be done on the next Janma Nakshatra day. People born in Ashwini, Magha, and Moola nakshatras should perform the Vinayaka Shanti homam. The Budha Shanti homam is for people born in the Ashlesha, Jyeshta, and Revati nakshatras.

- Ladies: saree.
- Regardless of age, we kindly request that all devotees refrain from dressing in jeans and T-shirts.
Instructions to be followed
- Women can participate in this puja after the fifth day of their menstrual cycle.
- If there is any death in the family, one should perform the puja after 3 months.
- One should stop consuming non-veg and alcohol for another 11 days after the puja.
- Three days before the puja, one should abstain from alcohol and non-vegetarian foods.

It is advisable to perform this puja before the wedding. This dosha might cause the spouse’s death. Anyone can perform this puja regardless of their age. One should join the video call to perform sankalpa. One should take a head bath before and after the puja. This puja can be performed even after getting married.
