Tara Devi Homam in Hyderabad is performed on specific days. The puja duration is 4-5 hours. Typically, two to three priests will be performing this ritual. Anyone can perform this puja regardless of their age. Goddess Tara is one of the Dasa Maha Vidya Shakti deities. She will destroy enemies in the tantric method. A single person or a couple can perform this puja. It is advisable to fast while performing this puja. This puja minimizes the negative effects of Shani Graha.

Puja Dress Code

• Gents: dhoti (white) and upper cloth.
• Ladies: saree.
• Regardless of age group, we kindly request that all devotees refrain from wearing clothing such as T-shirts and jeans.

Instructions to be followed

• Women can participate in this puja after the fifth day of their menstrual cycle.
• If there is any death in the family, one should perform the puja after 3 months.
• One should stop consuming non-veg and alcohol for another 11 days after the puja.
• Three days before the puja, one should abstain from alcohol and non-vegetarian foods.

Tara Devi Homam Procedure in Hyderabad

The homam for Goddess Tara Devi is performed in the temple premises. We experienced priests performing this puja on a request basis. If someone is planning a particular mantra (Japa count), they should let us know well in advance. Not everyone performs this puja, as she is an Ugra Devatha. A 10,000-Japa Sankhya might take two to three days for the puja. Mantra Japa will be performed on the first two days, with homam on the third day. An astrologer can let you know the required Japa Sankhya based on your desire. The higher the Japa Sankhya, the higher the winning chances. Anyone can perform this puja regardless of their Dosha. The preferred Mantra Japa Sankhya counts are usually 1,000, 10,000, 50,000, and 100,000.

Kindly note that this ritual is an individual puja. We don’t perform group pujas or samuhika pujas. In a normal puja, 108 Japam will be performed. We also perform Bagalamukhi Homam, Varahi Homam, and other Dasa Mahavidya Homams.
