Tirumala Ghat Road: Two-wheeler restriction

Only in September 2024 has TTD decided to let two-wheelers travel on both Ghat roads from 6 am to 9 p.m. The limit takes effect right away on Monday, August 12.

The choice has been decided given the devotees’ safety.

The Deputy Conservator of the Forests claims that August and September are wild animal peak mating seasons.

Consequently, the wild animals are frequently seen crossing First Ghat Road.

TTD has agreed to let the two-wheelers ply on both the first and second Ghat roads just from 6 am to 9 pm until September 30, 2024, to avoid the human-animal conflict in the interests of both the devotees and the wild animals.
