Ahobilam Temple Marriage Procedure, Booking Process

Marriage Enrollment charges: Rs. 1100

Marriage is allowed during the temple’s opening hours if it is performed inside the temple. The marriage hall is available near Temple Tank and next to the temple in Lower Ahobilam.

Ahobilam Temple Marriage Procedure

1. The Bride must be 18 years and above
2. The groom must be at least 21 years old.
3. Only Hindu arranged marriages are allowed at this temple.
4. Marriages are allowed inside the temple.
5. A minimum of 3 days’ booking enrollment is required
6. Second marriages are allowed with Terms and conditions
7. Enrollment charges don’t include hall, decoration, etc.
8. The enrollment charges cover only the marriage permission granted inside the temple.
9. The marriage Enrollment Form must be duly filled out with all required details
10. The marriage enrollment form must be signed by the bride, groom, bride’s father and mother, groom’s father and mother, and two witnesses from each side.
11. Flower Mandapam Decoration, Purohit, Pooja Samagri, and Nadaswaram (Sannai Melam/Baja Bajantrilu) are allowed during the marriage.
12. Catering services are not allowed inside the temple.
13. Marriages are allowed in the Lower Ahobilam during temple opening hours. Trust Halls are also available next to the temple.

Required Documents for Marriage Enrollment

1. Bride and Groom’s Aadhar Cards and 10th mark sheet/date of Birth certificate photocopies
2. The bride’s parents and the groom’s parents’ Aadhar Cards photocopies
3. Photocopies of the bride’s and groom’s Aadhar Cards.
4. Bride and Groom’s passport-size photos
5. The wedding card or Lagna Patrika must be signed and sealed by the VAO/VRO/Sarpanch/Thasildhar (For nativity proof)

1. Bride and Groom’s Aadhar Cards photocopies
2. Bride’s parents and groom’s parents Aadhar Cards photocopies
3. Bride and Groom’s 10th mark sheet/date of Birth Certificate photocopies
4. Wedding Invitation Card
5. Marriage Photos (Thali Kattu Pics) – 2 to 3 Nos
6. Marriage Enrollment receipt from the temple
