Tirumala: Simha Vahanam: The vehicle of Simha or the Lion is used for the procession of the image of God on the morning of the third day of the Bramha Utsavam. The Vehicle is made of gold, resembling a lion. Among the 10 avatars of Lord Vishnu, one was that of Narasimha or half-man-half-lion.
