Surya Jayanthi will be celebrated in a grand with Vahanam procession of Lord Venkateswara Swamy in Tirumala. It is also called Mini Brahmotsavam as the devotees will get the chance to watch the deity from the Gallery.

Tirumala Darshan Timings on Rathasapthami

VIP Recommendation letters will not be accepted for Rathasapthami day break Darshan. The devotees can have Sarva Darshan on this special day. Alipiri Mettu and Srivari Mettu remains open for 24 hours on Rathasapthami day. Tirumala Ghat Road might be open for 24 hours. Two wheelers might not be allowed on this special day. Four wheelers will have the entry. It is advisable to reach Tirumala little early as the Visitors Gallery might be full.

Expected Darshan duration: 3 to 4 hours. As majority of the devotees will be there in the Gallery. So Darshan crowd will be less.

Darshan Dress Code: Any decent outfit.

Room Booking procedure for Rathasapthami day

Devasthanam might not release the rooms for online booking as the crowd will be high. Rooms will be allotted on current booking procedure for the same day allotment. Instead, the devotees can book their stay in Tirupati and can reach Tirumala by Bus/ Vehicle/ Steps path.
