Thiruneermalai Temple Marriage Procedure Cost and Booking Details.

This temple accepts Hindu-arranged marriages. The temple premises allow knot tying. You must make other arrangements outside the temple.

Thiruneermalai Temple Marriage Procedure

1. The Bride must be 18 years and above
2. The Groom should be 21 years and above
3. Only Hindu arranged marriages are allowed at this temple.
4. Inter-caste Hindu arranged marriages are allowed.
5. A marriage Application has to be collected from the temple office by the Bride’s and Groom’s families
6. Any of the listed individuals can collect the form, i.e., the bride, the groom, the bride’s parents, or the groom’s parents.
7. The only payment required at the time of application submission is the marriage registration fee.
8. Interreligious marriages are not allowed in the temple.
9. Love marriages without parents’ acceptance are not allowed.
10. Decoration and catering services can be performed outside the temple.
11. A minimum of 1 to 2 months of advance booking is advisable.

Required ID proofs for same-caste arranged marriage

1. The Bride and Groom’s Aadhar Cards photocopies
2. Photocopies of the bride’s and groom’s Aadhar cards are required.
3. Bride and Groom’s Community Certificate and Transfer Certificate photocopies
4. A signed application form by the Thasildhar/MRO or online unmarried certificates from the bride and groom are required.

Thiruneermalai Temple Inter-caste Marriage

1. The Bride and Groom’s Aadhar Cards photocopies
2. Photocopies of the bride’s and groom’s Aadhar cards are required.
3. Bride and Groom’s Community Certificate and Transfer Certificate photocopies
4. A signed application form by the Thasildhar/MRO or online unmarried certificates from the bride and groom are required.
5. A separate NOC from the local police stations is required from the bride and groom.
6. A notary document confirming the parents’ acceptance of the marriage is required.

Marriage Registration Procedure

1. Temple will be issuing the marriage certificate, which can be used for the marriage registration

A minimum of 20 to 30 days of booking is advisable to make the other arrangements.
