Thiruneermalai Temple Marriage Procedure Cost and Booking details

Hindu arranged marriages are allowed at this temple. Knot tieing is allowed on the temple premises. Other arrangements have to be arranged outside the temple.

Thiruneermalai Temple Marriage Procedure

1. The Bride must be 18 years and above
2. The Groom should be 21 years and above
3. Only Hindu arranged marriages are allowed at this temple.
4. Inter-caste Hindu arranged marriages are allowed.
5. A marriage Application has to be collected from the temple office by the Bride’s and Groom’s families
6. Any of the listed persons can collect the form ie. Bride or Groom or Bride Parent’s or Groom parent’s
7. Only the marriage registration fee has to be paid at the time of application submission.
8. Inter-religious marriages are not allowed in the temple.
9. Love marriages without parents’ acceptance are not allowed.
10. Decoration and catering services can be performed outside the temple.
11. A minimum of 1 to 2 months of advance booking is advisable.

Required ID proofs for Same Caste Arranged Marriage

1. The Bride and Groom’s Aadhar Cards photocopies
2. Bride parents and Groom Parent’s Aadhar Cards photocopies.
3. Bride and Groom’s Community Certificate and Transfer Certificate photocopies
4. A signed application form by the Thasildhar/ MRO or Online Unmarried certificates from Bride and Groom are required.

Thiruneermalai Temple Inter-caste Marriage

1. The Bride and Groom’s Aadhar Cards photocopies
2. Bride parents and Groom Parent’s Aadhar Cards photocopies.
3. Bride and Groom’s Community Certificate and Transfer Certificate photocopies
4. A signed application form by the Thasildhar/ MRO or Online Unmarried certificates from Bride and Groom are required.
5. A Separate NOC from Local police stations is required from Bride and Groom.
6. A notary stating marriage acceptance by the parents is required.

Marriage Registration Procedure

1. Temple will be issuing the marriage certificate which can be used for the marriage registration
