1. During Karthika Masam
2. More effective on Mondays during Karthika Masam
3. Masa Sivaratri day is advisable.
4. Monday is good for this Pooja.

Please note that Rudrabhishekam and Mahanyasa Rudrabhishekam are not performed during Annual festival days ie during Sivaratri.
