Govu Pooja Sri Kalahasti

After opening Sri Kalahasti Temple at Early Hours, Govu (Cow)  will be taken inside Temple and does circumambulate (pradakshinam) Lord Siva Temple and Sri Gnana Prasoonambika Temple prakaram. After Govu Pooja, devotees are allowed for Suprabhata Seva followed by Lord Siva and Gnana Prasoonambika Devi Drashan.

Govu Pooja at Gokulam Timings: 7 am – 11 am , 4 pm – 6 pm.

Suprabhata Seva Sri Kalahasti

Suprabhata Seva Sri Kalahasti is a daily Seva, which is performed at Sri Kalahasteeswara Temple and Sri Gnana Prasoonambika Devi Temple. Temple preists wake up Lord Siva and Goddess Parvathi with Suprabhata Slokas.

After seva devotees are allowed for Lord Siva and Sri Gnana Prasoonambika Devi Darshan.

Nithya Kalyanam

Nithya Kalyanam at Sri Kalahasthi Timings: 11 am – 12 pm

Ticket Cost: Rs. 501 for  2 persons

Number of Tickets: 10 per day.

It is a daily seva performed to the Lord Shiva and Gnana Prasunambika Utsava Idols at Sri Kalasthi  Temple.

Prasadam Offered: 5 Laddus, 5 Vada, 1 Upper Cloth (for men), 1 Jack piece ( for women),  1 Kg Pulihora.

After performing Seva, devotees are allowed for Darshan through special Darshan queue line.

Dress Code for the Seva : Men should wear Dothi / Pancha  , Ladies in Saree.

Online booking is not available, tickets are issued at the counter.

Saneswara Abhishekam

Sri Saneswara Abhishekam in Sri Kalahasti Timings: 10 am and 5 pm . which is Daily Seva.

If Trayodasi falls on Saturday, then Abhishekam Timings on Sanitrayodasi will be 6:00 am – 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm.

Ticket Cost: Rs. 150 for two persons

Dress Code for this Seva:  Men should wear Dothi/ Pancha  , Ladies – Saree

Rudrabhishekam

Another form of Abhishekam to the Lord Sri Kalahastheeswara, it is a prayer that involves bathing the Lord with the milk and Camphor, while chanting mantras for purification. Devotees can take part into this by paying Rs.600. After Rudrabhishekam, the devotees are presented with Theertham and Prasadam.

It is held only on Monday’s, Abhishekam performed when planetary position is at Arudhra Nakshathram and it is Pradhoksha Kalam
