Shani Homam in Hyderabad is performed in a Yagashala. This puja is performed to minimize the negative effect of Shani Dasa. Typically, four to five pandits will be performing this ritual. The puja duration is 4 to 5 hours. Shani Homam includes Japam 19,000, with Tharpanam 1900 and Homam 190. One pandit cannot perform this puja, as Japam needs four to five pandits. Anyone can perform this puja regardless of their age. One should perform this puja with devotion and sincerity. One should take a head bath before the puja.
Shani Mahadasa, with Antardasa, will have an impact based on the planet’s positions. Shani Mahadasa with Budha and Guru will yield favorable results. Puja Dress Code
- For gentlemen, the dress code includes a white dhoti and either a shirt or a kurta paired with pajamas.
