One should not consider idols in the coitus style. This is because it is a sin to watch snakes mating. Consequently, it is not appropriate to use such idols for installation. Furthermore, the installed idol should not be taller than the main deity in the temple’s sanctum sanctorum. The idol should depict a pair of snakes with their hoods facing the followers; they shouldn’t be mating.
