Tirumala:

Lord Sri Venkateswara, donning the role of Lord Sri Rama and equipped with a golden bow and arrow, moves along the temple streets (Thiru Maada Streets) mounted atop the Hanumantha Vahanam. Hanuman is not only considered as ardent devotee of Lord Rama but also an exponent of all the four Vedas, besides being an embodiment of wisdom, strength, success and bravery.

Hanuman is considered one of the top devotees of Lord Vishnu in one of his avatars as Lord Rama. As done ardent devotee who carried Sri Rama on his shoulders, Hanumans association with Lord Venkateswara, an incarnation of Lord Rama is nothing unusual. It is said that Lord Sri Rama had taught the secrets of Atma Tatva to his most loyal  disciple, Hanuman. The Sita Ramanjaneya Samvadam is the basic theme of a Telugu poetry of yester years.

Thus the darshan of Lord Venkateswara along with Hanuman is considered not only auspicious but also as an high intellectual association. “The appearance of both Lord Rama and Hanuman is said to inspire the pundits for an extensive exploration of Vedic scriptures and  promote righteous life style.
