Girija Kalyana Pooja in Bangalore: Cost, Benefits, and Procedure

The story of the Girija Kalyana tells of Lord Shiva’s marriage to Parvati. Hindus place enormous importance on the heavenly marriage, Girija Kalyan, because they feel that participating in these rites bestows significant religious merit and qualities upon participants. Puja Instructions To Devotees

One should refrain from consuming non-vegetarian food for three days before the puja.
A woman can perform this puja after the fifth day of her menstrual cycle.
If a death occurs in your family, you can perform this puja after six months.
One family member can perform this puja on behalf of the entire family.
A Brahman can perform this puja on your behalf.
