Dhanvantari Homam Procedure, Cost, and Benefits
Lord Dhanvantari, also known as the founder of Ayurveda, shows up on the day of Dhanteras with a pot of medicine. Dhanvantari Puja and Yagna take place on Dhanvantari Trayodashi, which is two days before the festival of Diwali.
108 different healing herbs will be used along with Dhanvantari Mantra chanting while performing Dhanvantari Homam. When these medicinal herbs are burned in the Homa Kund, the smoke emission has healing qualities. This cleans the air and helps people who are sick.
Dhanvantari Puja is performed seeking blessings from Lord Dhanvantari, who is known as the divine healer, and to get health, wealth, and success. This puja is performed to get better from illness, keep both their bodies and minds strong, and get back to good health.
Dhanvantari is another form of Lord Vishnu with four hands holding the Amrit Kalash, the Conch, the Chakra, and the medicinal leech. In some texts, he is described as the Lord with a conch, healing herbs, the Ayurveda book, and the Amrit Kalash.
