Wargal Saraswati Abhishekam Procedure

1. Saraswati Abhishekam is performed daily in the morning hours between 6.00 am and 7.00 am.
2. The devotees are allowed to watch the abhishekam. Darshan will not stopped during this time.
3. After Abhishekam, Darshan will be stopped for about 1 hour as the deity alankarana will be performed.
4. Normal Darshan will resume at 8.00 am again.
5. The devotees who book the Abhishekam tickets are allowed to sit and watch Saraswati Abhishekam.
6. Abhishekam Ticket can be purchased on the same day at the counter.
7. The crowd will be high on Moola Nakshatra day, Vasantha Panchami day and other festival days.
8. All Pooja items required for the Abhishekam will be provided by temple trust itself.

Wargal Temple Aksharabhyasam Procedure

1. Aksharabhyasam is performed for the group of devotees inside Mandapam
2. Pooja is performed in batches
3. Parents are allowed to sit with the child and relatives are allowed to sit behind.
4. Saraswathi Devi Pooja follows Ganapathi Pooja in the order of pooja.
5. The priest will be guiding the devotees through the Pooja process
6. The priest will come to each devotee and make the child sit on his lap.
7. The priest holds the child’s hand and rewrites the letters in the slate
