<p>Kundrathur Murugan Temple Marriage, Cost, Booking Procedure</p>



<p>Marriage Enrollment charges: Rs. 1000</p>



<p>Marriage Timings: 6:00 am to 1:00 pm and 3:30 pm to 8:30 pm.</p>



<p>Approximately 20 marriages are allowed inside the temple for Thirumangalyam</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Kundrathur Murugan Temple Marriage</h2>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>The Bride must be 18 years and above</li>



<li>The groom must be 21 years and above.</li>



<li>Only Hindu arranged marriages are allowed inside the temple</li>



<li>The bride&#8217;s and Groom&#8217;s Aadhar cards and SSLC Mark sheet Photocopies</li>



<li>The bride&#8217;s parents&#8217; and groom&#8217;s parents&#8217; photo ID proofs are required.</li>



<li>The temple allows only Thirumangalyam entry.</li>



<li>Parents/guardians must be available for the marriage.</li>



<li>One must collect the marriage enrollment form at the temple counter.</li>



<li>Pre- and post-marriage arrangements can be performed outside the temple.</li>



<li>Following the Sannathi marriage, the newlyweds can have Darshan.</li>



<li>The newlywed couple will receive a copy of their marriage registration after the ceremony.</li>



<li>The same certificate is valid across the country; no other registration is required.</li>



<li>Photography and video shoots are not allowed inside the temple.</li>



<li>Marriage halls are located down the hill. Previously, the temple permitted Sannathi Homam; however, the current COVID situation only permits Thirumangalyam.</li>

<li>NOC from the Local police stations</li>



<li>A notary must record the marriage details and obtain approval from both the bride&#8217;s and groom&#8217;s parents.</li>
</ol>



<p>A minimum of 20 to 30 days of booking is required for the marriage hall.</p>

<p>The temple will be crowded heavily on festival days such as Thaipoosam, Karthikai month, kanda Shashti, Thiru Karthigai Deepam, Aadi Krithigai, Swamy Thirukalyanam etc.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Kundrathur Murugan Temple</h2>



<p>As per the legend, Lord Muruga after victory over Asuras in the war at Thiruporur, he proceeded to Tiruttani with good mood. On his way to Tiruttani, he Installed Shiva Linga hered and offered prayesrs to the deity.</p>



<p>This temple was built during the reign for Kulothunga Chola. Lord Muruga is worshipped on the name of Kandleeswarar.</p>



<p>The deity was placed such a way that, if you stand straight then only Lord Muruga will be visible. If move to left or right, then deity can be seen with His consrots Srivalli or Deivanai. </p>
