Ayush Homam in Tirupati can be performed either in Srikalahasti or Tirumala. This puja will be performed in a Yagashala outside the main temple. The puja duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes. Anyone can perform this puja regardless of their age. Typically, two to three priests will be performing this puja. The word “Ayush” means “lifespan,” which means this homam is performed to increase longevity. This homam is recommended for both elderly individuals and newborns.

It is advisable to perform AYUSH HOMAM on the same birth star during the same month the next year. Choose the second birth star date if the birth star appears twice in that month. You can now perform the procedure once a month, if possible. Hence, you can do it on your birth star in the same month. Ayush Homam performs for Ayush Vruddhi.
