Marriage will be performed during the temple opening Hours.

Arupadai Veedu Murugan Temple Marriage
- The Bride must be 18 years and above
- The Groom should be 21 years and above
- Only Hindu arranged marriages are allowed at this temple.
- Inter-caste arranged marriages are allowed.
- Application has to be collected from the temple office.
- Any of the listed persons can collect the form ie. Bride or Groom or Bride Parent’s or Groom parent’s
- Only the marriage registration fee has to be paid
- Inter-religious marriages are not allowed.
- Love marriages without parents’ acceptance are not allowed.
- Decoration and catering services can be performed outside the temple.
- A minimum of 1 to 2 months of advance booking is advisable.
Required ID proofs for Same Caste Arranged Marriage
- The Bride and Groom’s Aadhar Cards photocopies
- Bride parents and Groom Parent’s Aadhar Cards photocopies.
- Bride and Groom’s Community Certificate and Transfer Certificate photocopies
- A signed application form by the Thasildhar/ MRO or Online Unmarried certificates from Bride and Groom are required.
Arupadai Veedu Murugan Temple Inter-caste Arranged Marriage
- The Bride and Groom’s Aadhar Cards photocopies
- Bride parents and Groom Parent’s Aadhar Cards photocopies.
- Bride and Groom’s Community Certificate and Transfer Certificate photocopies
- A signed application form by the Thasildhar/ MRO or Online Unmarried certificates from Bride and Groom are required.
- A Separate NOC from Local police stations is required from Bride and Groom.
- A notary stating marriage acceptance by the parents is required.
