Our Sanskriti & Gyan Temples Pooja, Darshan, and Timings Navagraha Shanti Homam in Tiruchendur is performed daily. The puja lasts for about 4 hours. Three priests will perform the ritual. Anyone can perform this puja regardless of their dosha. This puja is performed in a yagashala outside the main temple. A single person or a couple can perform this puja. One should take a head bath before the puja. The puja starts at 8 a.m. Even newborn babies can participate in this ritual. During this ritual, we perform a 1008-mantra count for each Graha. We supply the puja articles for the ritual. You can perform this puja on any day.

It is advisable to fast while performing this ritual. We don’t suggest fasting for the elderly and children. This puja is performed individually.
Puja Dress Code
- Gents: dhoti (white) and upper cloth.
- Ladies: saree.
- Regardless of age, we kindly request that all devotees refrain from dressing in jeans and T-shirts.
Instructions to be followed
- Women can participate in this puja after the fifth day of their menstrual cycle.
- If there is any death in the family, one should perform the puja after 3 months.
- One should stop consuming non-veg and alcohol for another 11 days after the puja.
- Three days before the puja, one should abstain from alcohol and non-vegetarian foods.
Navagraha Shanti Homam in Tiruchendur
Navagraha Shanti Homam is performed for your family members. It is advisable to carry an extra set of clothes, as Kalasabhishekam will be performed at the end.
