The puja lasts 2 to 3 hours and should be performed with utmost devotion. It is advisable to perform this puja while fasting. Mandheeswarar is the son of Shani Bhagawan. He is the shadow planet for Shani Bhagawan. Mandhi will harm one’s life if it is not placed in the right position. Perform Mandhi puja to lessen the malefic effects of Mandeeswarar.
