Pitru Dosh Nivaran Puja Trimbakeshwar
It is believed that the departed souls reside in Pitru Loka, which lies between heaven and the Earth. The last three generations will reside here, and this Loka is governed by Yama (the god of death). As per the customs, one should perform the rituals to pacify the departed souls in the first half, during the dark fortnight, i.e., Pitru Paksha. By doing so, the departed souls will reach Heaven from the Pitru-loka.
One should perform the duties assigned to them properly. Any delay in the rituals and rites will cause pain and suffering to the departed soul. Thus affecting the family members.
