Ever since the TTD took over the reins of Tirumala temple administration TTD board shifts the budget functions for the year ending March-April, but the fete is observed symbolically at the end of Ani Masam, the last day as per the Tamil Calendar in the month of Ani.

On this day Utsava idols of Sri Malayappa and His consorts are brought on Sarvabhoopala Vahanam to Bangaru Vakili along with the idol of Sri Viswaksena. Special pujas, Prasadam and Kainkaryams are performed simultaneously for them and for the Mula Virat.
JEEYAR SWAMY PRESENT VASTRAM
Tirumala pontiff Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyarswamy brings six big Pattu Vastrams on a silver platter over his head to Srivari temple of which he presents four Vastrams to Mula Virat and two to Utsava idols of Sri Malayappa and Sri Viswaksena.
Thereafter chief Archaka dressed in Pattu Vastram for the occasion to bless the Tirumala pontiffs and TTD EO by symbolically handing over temple keys and placing the keys at Srivari feet after Harati, Chandana, Tambulam, and Thirtha and Shatari honours.
PUSHPA PALLAKI SEVA
As part of Anivara Asthanam festivities, Sri Malayappa swami and His consorts are paraded in the evening in a Pushpa Pallaki along the Mada streets and bless devotees. Pushpa Pallaki Seva will be held in the evening hours. The devotees can visit the procession from the Gallery available in the Mada streets.
CANCELLATIONS OF ARJITA SEVA
In view of Anivara Asthanam on July 17, TTD has cancelled the Arjita sevas of Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, and Sahasra Deepalankara Seva on Sunday.
