Tiruchendur Temple Marriage Hall Booking Procedure

1. The bride’s, groom’s, bride’s parents, and groom’s parents’ Aadhar card photocopies are required for booking.
2. 3 to 4 months of reservation is required for the wedding halls at Tiruchendur.
3. Hindu and arranged marriages are allowed at these mandapams.
4. The bride must be 18 years and above.
5. The groom must be 21 years and above.
6. A hall booking receipt is required for the hall allotment
7. For inter-caste marriages, parents’ presence is required for the hall booking.
8. A VRO certificate stating acceptance from both sides’ parents is required for inter-caste marriages.
9. Current charges and cleaning charges are to be paid extra.
10. Catering, decoration, pooja articles, and purohit are to be arranged separately.

Marriage Registration Procedure

1. A receipt will be issued by the hall manager after the marriage.
2. This receipt is to be submitted to the registration office along with other documents.
3. The following documents are required: Marriage Hall Receipt, Bride’s Aadhar Card, Groom’s Aadhar Card, Bride’s Parents’ Aadhar Cards, Groom’s Parents’ Aadhar Cards, 10th Class Mark List, Passport Copy (if available), two passport-size photos, and the original and photocopies of the Marriage Invitation.
4. The marriage registration office is not available at the Tiruchendur temple.
