1. An advance booking is required for the marriage at this temple
2. The bride and groom and 5 to 10 relatives are allowed to attend.
3. Bride’s and Groom’s Aadhaar cards are required for registration
4. Darshan is not part of the marriage procedure.
5. Couples usually arrange receptions for guests outside the temple.
6. Only private Halls are available for marriage reception outside the temple.
7. Advance booking is required as halls are limited.
8. Marriage Hall Cost Varies from Rs.15000 – Rs.50000
9. Flower and Lighting Decoration, Catering Services, Music, and Pooja articles will be charged extra.

Guruvayur Temple Marriage Thalikettu Procedure

• Bride and Grooms Aadhar CardsElection Cards, Passports, or any government ID photocopies are required for resident proof.
• Bride Parents and Groom parents Aadhar Cards Photocopies
• Bride and Grooms SSLC Certificate attested (for age proof)
• The presence of the bride’s parents and groom’s parents is required for enrollment.

Marriage Registration Process

1. Both the bride and groom are required to submit a photocopy of their passport or Aadhar cards along with the school certificate.
2. 3 Passport Size photos from Bride and Groom
3. Wedding Invitation Card
4. Three witnesses with valid Photo ID proof
5. Two Marriage Photos – Knot Tie pics.
6. The registration certificate will be issued on the same day at the Guruvayur Municipality.
