<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Dolphin nose Kodaikanal Timings, Entry fees, Route Map</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This place is 8 km from Kodai Bus station. The trekking path begins after Pambar Bridge and Cab facility is available until this point. From there is it is by the walk down the hill for 3 km. It takes 1 hour 30 mins to reach viewpoint and 1-hour 45 mins &#8211; 2 hours for the return path. It usually consumes half of the day for the trailing. It is advisable to take light food so that it will be easy to walk.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Dolphin Nose is a flat rock and is 6,600 feet deep, valley viewpoint will be good from this point. One can have panoramic scenes of St. Catherine waterfalls, Kotagiri Hills and Mettupalayam plains from the point.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The cave got it is right after Tamil Movie Guna release as major part of the movie shot in this Cave. Prior to the movie, this place was not of many importance. This place is close to Pillar Rock viewpoint, Pine tree forest and Moir Point.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Prior to Guna Movie, this caves was called by Devil’s Kitchen with bats hanging on the walls. Now, this cave is not accessible to the public. Entry to the cave is seized now with the iron gates so tourists can only view the caves from far.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Best time Visit: Jan &#8211; Aug months.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This lake is of Star-shaped and was created by Sir Vere Henry Levinge in the year 1863. This lake stretches on 60 acres of land and the water from streams feeds the lake. Motorboating, Row boating and Pedal boating are available from 8 am &#8211; 6 pm. Horse riding is available at the entrance.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Best time to visit: Jan &#8211; Aug months.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Summer festivals will be celebrated in the month of May and the tourist crowd will be little high during this time. The Temperature will not rise above 25 degrees Celsius.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Another interesting tourist spot in Kodaikanal. This place is 8 km from Kodai bus station and is reachable by vehicle. Horse riding is available at the entrance. No entry fees for this place. It is Up and down hills and the good place for photography. Not advisable to go with photographers readily available, please carry cameras on your own. Brown coloured trees all around the place. Movie shootings are commonly held at this place.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In the year 1906, Mr.Bryant planned pine trees for timber works which later turned into a tourist spot and gained the popularity. Up and down hill formation created a wonderful location.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Best time to visit: Jan &nbsp;&#8211; Jul months.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Coakers walk Timings, Kodaikanal, Entry fees</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It is a narrow walking path on the edge of the hill. This path runs for 1 Km and was constructed by Lt. Coaker in 1872. It takes 5 mins to walk from one edge to another edge. A telescope is located in the midway of the path through which one can have a spectacular view of the hills.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Early hours is the best time and the Mist will be covering the walking path. Walking path opens from both the edges, Near Greenlands Youth Hostel Or Villa Retreat.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Kodaikanal Lake</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This artificial lake was created in&nbsp;1863 by Sir Vere Henry Levinge.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Timings: 9:00 am &#8211; 6: 00 pm.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Motor Boats, Rowboats and Pedal boats are available for boating. Horse riding is also available at the entrance.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Coakers Walk</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It is a walking path on the edges of the valley. Admission Rs 2, Camera Rs. 5.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Entry fees: Admission Rs 2, Camera Rs. 5</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Opening Timings: 7 am &#8211; 7 pm</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Early hours are preferable as passing through mist will be memorable. There is an astrophysics Observatory with entry fees Rs. 3. A telescope is available for the spectacular valley view in the midway. Entry is allowed for either end ie. Near Greenlands Youth Hostel Or Villa Retreat, and it is 5 mins walk along the path.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Berijam Lake</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Nature lovers must not miss the lake visit during the trip. This lake is 23 km from Kodai Bus station. Boat riding is available in this Lake. Permission is required for the entry. This lake got created by a dam.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Guna Cave</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Not many know about this Cave, only trekkers used to reach this place. This cave got popular after the Tamil Movie &nbsp;&#8220;Guna&#8221; where most of the movie shot in this Cave. Hence it called by the name Guna Cave.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Pine Forest</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Must visit the place during Kodaikanal trip. Horse riding is available here. Good time for photography and nature lovers.&nbsp;I would suggest, tourists to carry cameras on their own, not advisable to go with photographers readily available.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Bryant Park</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This park is located at the Eastern Side Of Kodaikanal Lake. It is a botanical garden with varieties of flowers, &nbsp;medicinal plants and Hybrids.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Pillar Rocks</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Pillar Rocks is another major tourist&nbsp;attraction. It is 8 km from the Lake tower. One can have Valley View from this point. It is the natural formation of 3 huge granite rocks.</p>
